Our Story
Free My City didn’t start as a clothing brand. It started as a song in Killeen, Texas.
In 2016, our city was hurting. Violence was high. Families were grieving. There was tension in the air. A lot of us were asking hard questions and sitting in quiet reflection. During that season, our founder, Levallois did what he knew how to do- he wrote. He used his gift of music and recorded a song called “Free My City”. It wasn’t a marketing idea. It wasn’t a campaign. It was an honest expression of what people were feeling. It was a prayer.
And it resonated.
The phrase began to travel. Conversations started. Interviews followed. What started as lyrics became something people could stand behind. Free My City was never about protest culture or politics. It was about responsibility. It was about presence. It was about everyday people deciding that their communities deserved better and choosing to be part of that change. That season revealed something simple but powerful: freedom isn’t loud. It’s lived and the community is everyone’s responsibility.
We believe cities change when people do. And people change when they live with conviction. So the movement grew. Years later we formalized what had already been alive and created apparel that reflects that identity.
Free My City isn’t here to tell you what your mission is. We’re here to remind you that you have one. And when you live it out, your city feels it.
Wear the Mission. Live the Message.
